Championship and Cup Races
6.1 Championship. The following three Championships will be sailed each summer with Trophies awarded to the winners.
- Class A. Boats 27" to 36" inclusive
open to all sailors.
Trophy presented by Mr R C R
Twallin.
- Class B. Boats. 21" to 26" inclusive
open to sailors who have not reached the age of 18 by 1 August.
Trophy presented by Mr P W S Boult.
- Class C. Boats 15" to 20" inclusive
open to all sailors who have not reached the age of 14 by 1 August.
Trophy presented by GatewayBuilding Society.
Qualification. To qualify to sail in the Class B or C Championship,
a boat must have won one qualifying race and its sailor must
have sailed that boat in two races during the season. To qualify
for Class A Championship, the sailor must have won a race with
the same boat in the current season.
Entry limit. No one may sail more than two boats in a Championship.
6.2 Cup Races. The tables below list the Special Races for which individual Trophies are awarded, together with entry qualification
requirements and a description of the race.

May Bank Holiday Competitions
A pick-up regatta is generally arranged on the second
Bank Holiday Monday in May. It will include the following
cup races.
